UBD Convocation Exhibition - A live show for the Crown Prince
The MoreLab had an excellent opportunity to participate in the UBD Convocation Festival from 31. August to 12. September. We were selected to present our recent research project about Kangaroo-Inspired Robotic System for Emergency Responses, which works as the first responders to assist the fire-fighters to explore and search for victims in damaged and fired buildings.
In the opening ceremony, we got the great honour to give live-demonstration of the robotic system to the Crown Prince (Pro-Chancellor of UBD), Minister of Education, the VC, the DVCs and many delegates. We also received a lot attentions from the journalists and visitors during this day.
To achieve this show-case, all lab members had to work very hard for 10 days in the lab and in the field (the new library). Thank you all for your efforts. We are truly "the more than one" lab!
On this occasion, we would like to give special thanks to our friends and colleagues including the UBD Convocation Festival organizers and the Estate officers who assisted us during our show-case preparation. Without your contribution, we would not make it!
